Your future contribution
We are looking for a talented Content Marketing Manager for our German-speaking markets (DACH) to take full responsibility for our inbound marketing strategies including blogs, guides, and lead generation.

Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional with a writing background. You should be able to develop engaging content to attract and retain customers. For this position, it’s also essential to be up-to-date with new technologies and marketing trends.
Ultimately, you should be able to expand our company’s digital footprint and brand awareness.
How you’ll add value
  • You will create industry-specific content, such as blogs and guides, on our core topics (channel management, vacation rental marketing, travel industry, sales, and digitalization).
  • You will represent the voice of our German marketing efforts, producing content for various marketing channels, including our website, newsletters, emails, social media, and webinars.
  • You will develop engaging thought leadership content with a consistent tone of voice, collaborating with multiple authors across the business.
  • You will collaborate with other members of the content and marketing teams to develop and execute various marketing campaigns.
  • You will drive content optimization by working with your colleagues on SEO and translating data into actionable insights.
  • You will conduct research and create storyboards based on current trends, ensuring the preparation of best practice analyses.
  • You will contribute to design strategies, continuously enhancing and refining the Smoobu brand.
  • You will help position us as the leading vacation rental software provider in search rankings.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
  • Have 3+ years of work experience as a content writer or editor, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in German.
  • Have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing data, visualizing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing insights and recommendations.
  • Demonstrate proven success in digital marketing, ideally in the B2B sector and/or within a creative agency specializing in content marketing.
  • Have experience writing search-engine-optimized texts and localizing/translating content.
  • Are a quick learner who is creative, proactive, and hands-on.
  • Are passionate about your work and eager to learn and grow.
  • Have an affinity for the SaaS industry; experience with short-term and vacation rentals is a big plus.
