Your future contribution

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you play a pivotal role in protecting our organization's systems and ensuring their smooth operation. Our cyber security team is responsible for driving the cyber security agenda in both HomeToGo and our subsidiary companies.

With your expert skills and knowledge, you ensure the security of our digital infrastructure against threats. Working in close collaboration with various teams, you not only understand their unique needs but also provide them with optimal solutions to enhance our overall security posture. Your dedication to staying current with regards to the latest industry trends and developments will help us foster a secure and resilient environment, capable of withstanding emerging challenges and threats.

How you’ll add value

Continuously monitor our networks and systems to detect any security intrusions or breaches
Spearhead investigation leading into incident response when a security breach occurs, partaking in both resolving the issues and in the forensic analyses to understand the nature of the incidents
Engage with colleagues throughout the group on security related topics
Assist in evaluating our organization's security posture, performing risk assessments and threat modeling to identify areas of weakness.
Assist in developing and maintaining our organization's security documentation while ensuring they are in line with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements
Foster a culture of security awareness by educating other employees about the importance of cyber security, including conducting training sessions or seminars
Evaluate third-party service providers for security concerns and ensure any technology utilized by the organization meets our security standards

You’ll be successful in this role if you

Have demonstrated experience as a security analyst
Know cloud environments, network and security protocols, operating systems, and database platforms. Understand different cyber security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, EDR/XDR, SIEM systems, ELK stack etc.
Have experience with handling cyber security incidents (this can include skills in digital forensics and understanding common attack techniques)
Know the risk assessment methodologies and are able to apply them to the technology environment
Understand how to develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures
Are able to think critically and solve complex issues, often under pressure
Possess certifications such as CEH, or CompTIA Security+, CYSA+ or CASP+ that can demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in this field
Are fluent in English
