Your future contribution
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of PR & Communications to oversee Consumer PR, Corporate PR, and ESG Reporting at HomeToGo. Based at our Berlin headquarters and reporting directly to the Co-founder & CEO, you will be a key member of HomeToGo’s Leadership Team and play a central role in shaping the company’s communications strategy around major growth milestones. You will lead a dedicated team of in-house PR professionals, supported by agencies in key markets, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Finance, Investor Relations, Marketing, Brand, Legal, and HomeToGo’s subsidiaries. The ideal candidate brings both agency and in-house experience, a flair for bold storytelling, and a passion for leadership.
How you’ll add value
  • Shape and execute HomeToGo’s global communications strategy, with a focus on key markets including Germany, the U.S., and the UK
  • Develop ongoing seasonal strategies for Digital PR and experiential stunt campaigns to enhance brand and SEO visibility
  • Manage HomeToGo’s corporate reputation and thought leadership efforts, including initiatives to raise executive and company visibility
  • Craft 360° communications approaches—both internal and external—for key company milestones such as financial updates, product launches, and acquisitions
  • Oversee an ESG reporting lead responsible for managing the CSRD compliance audit
  • Lead new initiatives to reinforce HomeToGo’s commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility
  • Manage a dedicated in-house team and oversee agency relationships in core markets
You’ll be successful in this role if you
  • Have 10+ years of experience in public relations and communications, ideally with a background in both PR agencies and in-house roles, preferably in the travel industry
  • Are fluent in both German and English
  • Have established relationships with key editors, particularly in the DACH business landscape
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of executing impactful corporate communications strategies and consumer PR campaigns
  • Possess knowledge of ESG reporting and sustainability best practices
  • Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Bring strong leadership and team management skills
